Alhamdulillah...syukur to Allah the Almighty, today I went through phd viva successfuly. The Examiners agreed to give me Pass with minor corrections. After almost four years being a phd students, sometimes I was up, and sometimes I was down.
The first person that I called after the viva was husband. He gave me strength to me to keep on going whenever I faced problem. May be he, himself didn't realised, but his presence in my life just make my life complete.
The second person that I called was my 81 years old mother. I was cried when I called her. She always pray for me, day and night. I think, her prayers make me successful. She was so happy when I told her that I passed the examination. She didn't understand what viva means, so I told her that I had an important exam today.
The third person that I called was my mother in law, however she might be busy that time, and didn't answer the call. She is like my own mother, and always treated me like her own daughter. Later, in the afternoon, I called her again and thank her for her prayers.
The fourth person that I called was my best friend, Awin who is still struggling in her phd research. She didn't answer the call, but I knew, she was in the lab doing the experiments. Then I sms her and told her about this news. May Allah help my friend, Awin..may Allah ease her phd journey. She is a very kind and good hearted person. I adore her in many ways.
I also would like to take this oppurtunity to thank everyone who involved directly or indirectly in my phd journey. To my supervisor, Assoc Prof Dr Samsul Bahari, thank you for coming to my viva. You always give me motivation throughout my studies. Dr Raja Kamil and Dr Farah Saleena.. thank you for your guidance and advice.
To my children, Fahmy, Eisya, Aisy and Rizq, thank you for your dua' and you give me strength to live. I love you my children, Insyaallah I'll take a good care of you... and guide you to be successful person in this world and thereafter...
justMe,
Hasmah...
